Datamine hosted their second SABLE® Fricker Friday on 15 November 2019 at The Capital Empire Hotel in Sandton Johannesburg.
Fricker Friday’s are Datamine Africa’s informative sessions held in Johannesburg throughout the year. Taken from the street name of our Johannesburg office, these sessions aim to give back to our customers through fun, interactive seminars that cover a variety of our mining software solutions. The sessions are free to attend and often attract individuals from an assortment of companies.
The event was structured in the form of a 1 day seminar and was targeted at Datamine-SABLE's existing client base. It was well attended with over 20 delegates, including geologists, exploration geologists and mineral resource managers with a wide range of technical expertise.
The seminar gave SABLE® super-users and representatives of current SABLE implementations an opportunity to present on their experience with SABLE® rock engineering, open cast and underground database applications. The Datamine-SABLE team also showcased the exciting current developments in SABLE® as well as gave the attendees a sneak peek into future plans. The event ended off with an overview of Datamine-SABLE's support processes and training offerings.
